How do we remove mould?
We apply various approved mould killing products, these vary depending on the situation and surface. We then ‘fog’ the rooms to kill any existing mould spores and mould mites.
Why do I need a professional to remove the mould?
Many ‘off the shelf’ products or remedies are not effective at completely killing and removing many types of mould. In fact, some cleaning methods can actually spread mould and spores, cross-contaminating it to other areas and throughout the property.
What is fogging?
Fogging is a mould spore treatment that is delivered via a specialised fogging machine to produce a fine mist/fog. This kills airborne mould spores and spores on fittings, furnishings and other items and surfaces.
Are our products safe?
Yes, all products are non-toxic and safe for use in the home.
Will I have to move out?
In most cases you will only need to be out whilst the treatment is being carried out and usually for a short period afterward.
Can we sleep in the room that night?
Yes, it would be extremely rare that there would be cause to stay out overnight.
Can we successfully remove mould from decorative/textured surfaces/ceilings?

Will I need to paint afterwards?
In most cases paintwork comes up fresh and clean after our mould treatment and painting may not be needed, however this depends on the quality, age, and state of repair of your paintwork. See the before/after photos on our case studies page.
Can we treat sub floor areas?
Yes, any accessible areas of the sub floor can be treated for mould spores.
Can we tell you why mould is growing?
Yes. We also specialise in conducting Mould Inspections. Our qualified Mould Inspectors understand why mould grows, and can identify why this is happening in your home. We also provide a Report containing practical suggestions for long term mould prevention and control specific to your home.
Why is it important to know why it is growing?
The ‘secret’ to long term prevention of mould is in identifying the underlying issues and actual cause/s of the mould problem, only then can you keep the mould under control by prevention rather than continuing to combat the result. This is important to prevent damage to your health, belongings and the property itself, and protect your home from possible pest attack.
Do we sell products or ventilation devices?
We do not ‘up-sell’ ventilation systems or dehumidifiers etc. We do not recommend devices that do not actually rectify the problem itself.
